Overview
AIA is an insurer that offers group health insurance for employers in Singapore, covering employees for hospital and surgical treatment, outpatient visits and mental health care. AIA Singapore says its group policies insure around 1.3 million employees, roughly a third of the country's workforce.
AIA has widened what its Group Hospital and Surgical Insurance pays for. From January 2025, AIA covers inpatient mental health treatment on an as-charged basis up to the plan limit, adds mobile inpatient care at home, and lets parents take children up to age 12 straight to a paediatrician without a referral. Employees can also use the Think Well programme for unlimited text sessions with psychologists.
