Equipsme is a UK business health insurance provider, launched in 2018, that offers health plans for SMEs with at least 2 employees, powered by AXA Health. Equipsme plans sit between a health cash plan and traditional private medical insurance, a position sometimes called PMI lite, with four levels from GP Plus to Diagnosis and Treatment Plus.
Equipsme includes 24/7 GP access, physio support, health checks and gym discounts on every plan. Equipsme asks employees no medical questions, though pre-existing conditions from the 3 years before cover starts are excluded. Employers can add Dental and Optical cover or EAP stress support.
