Hallesche

Health insuranceGermany

Hallesche offers betriebliche Krankenversicherung in Germany: an employer-paid health budget that tops up employees' statutory health insurance.

Overview

Hallesche is a German health insurer, part of the ALH Gruppe, that offers employer-funded supplementary health insurance (betriebliche Krankenversicherung, or bKV) in Germany. A Hallesche bKV does not replace statutory health insurance. It sits on top of it, paying towards costs that statutory cover leaves to the employee.

Hallesche FEELfree gives each employee a yearly health budget of €300, €600, €900, €1,200 or €1,500 to spend on items such as glasses, dental treatment, hearing aids and alternative practitioners. Hallesche sets no health questions and no waiting periods, and employers need to insure at least 10 employees.
